A hotel giving equal opportunities to those with disadvantages and disabilities

The Albergo Etico Roma is a member of the Italian Association for the Integration of People with Disabilities (AIPD), which offers employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Each establishment is open to trainees with disabilities and disadvantaged backgrounds to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to work in hospitality. The hotel teaches all of its trainees basic hospitality skills and qualifications to help them develop successful careers at the hotel and within other hospitality chains. Additionally, each employee has the pleasure of interacting with guests from around the world, which allows them to enjoy unique experiences and become immersed in a broader world. 

"We want our employees to develop themselves professionally, and we create programs for that purpose," said Roberta Giannini de Martino, head of human resources at Albergo Etico Roma Trastevere. 

In a world where people are increasingly becoming isolated, Albergo Etico is working to create opportunities for meaningful interaction between people with disabilities and disadvantaged backgrounds and the wider public.
